His studies were conducted with Walter Boeykens at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, Belgium, and at the same time with George Pieterson (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) and Larry Combs (Chicago Symphony Orchestra). Alberola was for more than 20 years first clarinet Opera Orchestra of Madrid and Galicia. His vocation as a director would discover with the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Galicia in 1996, the group that was eight years artistic director. In 2003 he was appointed director of the Youth Orchestra of the Opera de Madrid and in 2007 director of the Youth Orchestra of Soria.
Vicent Alberola has directed at the Royal Theatre of Madrid with Madrid Symphony the following operas: Rita G.Donizetti the G.Puccini Boheme, Don Giovanni of WA Mozart, Persephone I.Stravinsky, Puss in Boots X .Montsalvatge, Iolanta of PITchaikovsky, G. Verdi’s Macbeth and most recently G.Donizetti L’Elissir d’Amore.
At the same time he has directed several symphonic programs with the Madrid Symphony Orchestra at the Auditorio Nacional of Madrid Orchestra Excelentia Santa Cecilia, the Opera Orchestra of Perm, the National Youth Orchestra of Spain, Symphony Valladolid, the MMCK of Tokyo and the group “Musica Aeterna” from Perm, Russia.
