(FINALIZADA) Masterclass Trombón - Jacques Mauger

El jueves 1 y el viernes 2 de febrero el trombonista Jacques Mauger impartirá unas masterclasses en la sede del Centro Superior KATARINAGURSKA, en la calle Santa Engracia, 181.

El precio de matrícula por cada clase es de 50€ para alumnos del Centro y 80€ para alumnos de fuera. El precio incluye 1h de clase individual, y 1h y media de clase grupal (de 17h a 17:30 el 1 de febrero, y de 9h a 10h el 2 de febrero)

Alumnos oyentes: 20€/día

    Las clases individuales se impartirán:

  • 1 de febrero: de 17:30 a 21:30
  • 2 de febrero: de 10h a 14h y de 15h a 20h
    Las clases grupales se impartirán:

  • 1 de febrero: de 17h a 17:30
  • 2 de febrero: de 9h a 10h

Jacques Mauger

Novedades educativas - jacques maugerJacques Mauger is one of the most prominent trombonists of the world, and his performances along with his teaching are examples of the highest standard that can be attained. Jacques was born in Normandy in Northwestern France. In his early he showed an interest in the trombone and subsequently studied trombone at the Regional Conservatoire in Rouen and later at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.

Following his studies he entered international competitions and became a prize-winner at Markneukirchen in Germany and later at Toulon in France. He then started his professional career as first trombone with the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, followed by becoming trombone soloist with the Paris Opera Orchestra.

Since 1990, he has concentrated on working as a concert artist and has often appeared as a soloist in France and abroad with ensembles varying from string and symphony orchestras to brass and concert bands. He has also made television appearances on ZDF,GLOBO, RAI and MUZZIK in France, and has broadcast on RFI, France Inter, France Musique, France Info and the BBC, thus making himself known to a wide audience. Many international composers have composed original works or made special arrangements for him.

Throughout his career as a soloist Jacques has also maintained an active career as a teacher at the «Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris » where he was appointed in 1994, and also at the «Accademia Santa Cecilia di Roma», Italy for 3 years. In June 2004 he won the audition for the trombone professor at the H.E.M, Neuchatel Switzerland. He is now the trombone Professor HEMU of Lausanne site of Fribourg, a position he has held since September 2012.

Mr. Mauger is also guest professor at the Senzoku Gaquen University of Tokyo, Japan; and he often gives masterclasses and performances in numerous countries around the world such as France, the U.K, Japan, Korea, China, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, the United States, and many of the countries in South America.

In 2007 his newly developed studies collection for trombone (in collaboration with Jean Michel Defaye) was published in he publication series by IMD Arpèges Publications in Paris. During this same period of time he also was involved in the development of the new AC440 trombone model in the Antoine Courtois Brass factory. This AC440 trombone is widely used by many of the best trombonists in the world. Jacques Mauger is also the new President of the “Association des Trombonistes Francais.”

Jacques is a true ambassador of the French School performance and repertoire as well as of the trombone overall. Through his many appearances throughout the world with masterclasses and performances, he is making a significant impact on the trombonists and soloists of tomorrow.
