Admission process for the 24/25 academic year

Students interested in taking the entrance exam (1st call -in the month of June 2024) for enrolment in the 24/25 academic year must register for the admission process via a link:

Once registered, students can request classes with the different teachers they are interested in for the 24/25 course. This request can be made by sending an email to: direccionacademica@katarinagurska.com.

Entry requirements to Undergraduate Degree Program

All applicants who wish to enter on any specialty or itinerary in CSKG must meet the official requirements for access to Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores, under current regulations in the Comunidad de  Madrid, and all candidates must pass the following exams:

Specific entry exam to Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores – the exam consists on 2 exercises:

1. A common exam for all specialties and instruments.
2. A practical exam linked to the candidate’s specialty or instrument.¡

The registration fee is €50, which will be deducted from the registration fee for the 2024-2025 academic year.

All those interested (string, wind or singing) can apply for a piano accompanist at a cost of 50€ (which will be deducted from the registration fee for the 2024-2025 academic year), which includes a 45-minute rehearsal in our facilities and the accompaniment on the day of the entrance exam. To do so, they must apply and send the scores before the 26th of May 2024 to direccionacademica@katarinagurska.com.

In order to take the entrance exam to Higher Artistic Education in Music, you must follow the instructions below:

• Make the payment corresponding to the registration fee (€50) and for the pianist repertoire if requested (€50) to the following bank account:

• Send the following documentation, either in person or by registered post to Calle Santa Engracia 181, 28003 Madrid, addressed to Jefatura de Estudios, or by email to: direccionacademica@katarinagurska.com.
  In the latter case, the scanned documentation must be submitted in original and photocopy format before the entrance exam.
• Photocopy of DNI, NIE or Passport (both sides).
• Original and copy, for verification purposes by the centre, of the Baccalaureate Diploma or certificate of successful completion of the university entrance exam for those over 25 years of age, or certificate of successful completion of the exam for those over 19 years of age (both sides). Students who are studying the second year of baccalaureate in the 2023/2024 academic year must present a certificate from the centre where they are studying, and must then present proof of having applied for the baccalaureate diploma and of having paid the fees before taking the entrance exam.
• Sworn statement that they have not submitted more than two applications in the same year in the territory of the Community of Madrid to take the specific test in the same teaching, and, if applicable, in the same speciality, itinerary, instrument or style, including the application form that accompanies the sworn statement.

• Candidates who, being in possession of the corresponding professional qualification, wish to accredit it, must attach an official academic certificate stating the average mark of the transcript for the purpose of calculating the final qualification.
• Proof of payment made.
