MASTERCLASS PERCUSIÓN – SISCO APARICI
The percussionist Sisco Aparici will be the next guest of the CSKG Percussion Department. He will be with us on 31 March and 1 April to work on percussion in contemporary music.

In the pedagogical field he maintains a strong commitment, giving masterclasses in the most important European and American centres. He is co-author of a new methodology for percussion called IMUSI and guest professor since 2017 at the University Alfonso X el Sabio and at the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska.
He has received recognition for his work from institutions such as the Siemens Foundation, the Swiss Government, the Spanish and Valencian Government. He has formed part of ensembles such as Remix Ensemble, Drumming Percussion Group, Trío de Magia, Smash Ensemble, Espai Sonor, SYNERGEIN Project, among others.
He has performed at festivals such as Schwetzinger SWR Festspiele (Germany), Ciclo de Música Contemporánea de la Fundación BBVA (Bilbao), Frankfurter Gesselschaft für Neue Musik (Germany), Jornada de Música Contemporánea de Córdoba, Festival ENSEMS de Valencia, Center Tchèque, Quincena Musica de San Sebastián, Festival Musica Nova de Sao Paulo, Centro Internacional de Percusión de Ginebra, among the most important.
His discography includes recordings with major labels such as Stradivarius, Visual Sonora, KRB Studios, Anemos, Verso and Odradek Records.

He maintains direct contact with national composers of the stature of Alberto Posadas, Jesús Torres, José Manuel López, Gabriel Erkoreka, Ramón Lazkano, Félix Ibarrondo, Hèctor Parra, Polo Vallejo among others, as well as international artists such as Pierre Jodlowsky (France), Toshio Hosokawa (Japan), Pierluigi Billone (Italy), Marco Stroppa (Italy), Helmut Lachenmann (Germany), Vinko Globokar (France), Joao Pedro Oliveira (Portugal) and Julio Estrada (Argentina).
