The DART Artistic Research programme is a unique programme in Spain that offers specific training and monitoring focused on the development of doctoral theses. Endorsed by the University of Valladolid, it makes it possible to study in one of its 29 doctoral programmes.
With a clear inspirational mission, the DART offers training and personalised accompaniment aimed at developing skills in the field of the most up-to-date artistic research while exploring new avenues of scientific and artistic knowledge.
Over 3 years, students receive a complete cross-disciplinary and multidisciplinary training agreed with the Doctoral School of the UVa (EsDUVa). They also receive personalised academic and artistic advice, participate in research laboratories and have the opportunity to show their research results at national and international congresses and dissemination platforms.
With a wide range of artistic advisors and PhDs specialising in the most diverse disciplines, DART is a programme of the Katarina Gurska Institute for Artistic Research based in Real Sitio de San Ildefonso, Segovia. Its modern facilities are adapted to create an ideal space for reflection, training and multidisciplinary practice in an inspiring, creative and innovative environment. It also has its own theatre, equipped to host the most avant-garde artistic research projects.
