Alejandro Mateo González

He was born in Cádiz in 2000 and at the age of 7 he began his piano and musical training in an unofficial way. In 2011 he entered the Muñoz Molleda professional conservatory.

Since 2015 he studied under the guidance of Daniel Ábalos Berrocal, at the professional conservatory Manuel Carra (Malaga). In turn, he actively attended masterclasses and courses with teachers such as Antonio Pompabaldi, Juan Lago, Eduard Halim, Pascal Nemirovski, Graham Schott, Albert Mamriev, among many others.

He has been awarded in several competitions, being first prize in the National Intercentros Melómano competition (Andalusia) and finalist in the national competition.

First prize at the Professional Conservatory “Manuel Carra” in Malaga for five consecutive years.

Alejandro is committed to both his teaching and concert life, giving numerous concerts all over the national music scene.

In 2022 he made his debut as a soloist with the Malaga Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Victor Eloy and has played in places such as the Real Alcazar of Seville, the Chapel of the Palace of San Telmo (Seville), the National Museum of History in Madrid and the Canónigos Theatre in the farm of San Ildefonso, among many others.

During the 2022/2023 academic year he received a scholarship to complement his studies at the prestigious Barenboim-Said Academy with Eldar Nebolsin and Juan Pérez Floristán.

She is currently studying under the direction of Nino Kereselidze at the Katarina Gurska Centre.
