Victor Carbajo
Victor Carbajo is a Spanish composer and pianist born in Madrid in 1970. He studied music at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música in his hometown, where he graduated as a Professor of Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Instrumentation, getting his final Composition diploma with honors in 1993.
His activity as a pianist is very prolific. Usually accompanies well-known figures of Spanish lyric and classical song, such as Francisco or Alberto Cortez in their tours in Spain and abroad. He has performed as soloist accompanist in concert halls such as the Auditório Nacional de Música de Madrid, Palau de la Música in Valencia, Palau de la Música in Barcelona and the Olympia Theatre in Paris.
As a composer, his music has been performed in Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, United Kingdom, Portugal, Russia, Ukraine, Denmark, United States, Mexico, Argentina and Australia. He has also received several commissions from several international organizations.
Currently he combines his work as a pianist and composer with his work as a teacher at the Centro Superior KATARINA GURSKA.
