Gleb Koroleff

Gleb Koroleff represents the piano school of Professor Pavel Gililov and Claudio Martinez-Mehner, which brings together Russian and European piano traditions.

Born in Latvia, he began his studies at the Emils Darzins Music School in Riga, his hometown. He continued his studies at the Central School of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the class of Tamara Koloss. He graduated with the prestigious Professor Pavel Gililov at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and with Professor Claudio Martínez-Mehner at the Higher School of Music in Cologne, Germany. Both teachers played a fundamental role in continuing to develop his mastery and knowledge of the piano art. He received other important musical impulses from such distinguished artists as Dmitri Bashkirov, Robert McDonald, Jacques Rouvier, Mikhail Voskresensky and Fazil Say.

Gleb Koroleff has gained critical acclaim for her performances at major concert halls worldwide and has established himself as one of the most exciting musical talents of today. Touring internationally in America, Asia, and throughout Europe, he has appeared at the Tonhalle Zürich, Suntory Hall in Japan, “Symphony Space’’ in New York, Shanghai Philharmony, Gasteig in Munich, Auditorium Nacional de Madrid, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Saint-Petersburg Philharmony, Beethovenhalle in Bonn, and many more major concert halls in Israel, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Japan, China, Canada, Argentina, Belgium, France, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Schwitzerland, Spain, Austria, Netherlands, Ukraine, Malta.

Gleb Koroleff has been a guest at renowned international festivals, including “Emilia Romagna”, “Beethovenfest”, “Eilat-Festival”, “Festspiele Mecklenburg – Vorpommern”, “Paderewsky festival”, “New-York chamber music festival”, “Winners and Masters”, “Schlesswig Holstein Musik Festival”, “Best of NRW”, Vladimir Spivakov festivals, “Jurmala-classique”, Hannover NDR chamber music festival etc. Since 2018 he has been a guest artist and chamber music collaborator of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra.

Recordings of him for the West German WDR Radio, Bavarian Radio, NDR Radio, Latvian Classical Radio, Radio Orfeo and Medici TV have been critically acclaimed. He has the honor of being an honorary holder of the international foundation “Lions Club ”,” Yehudi Menuhin Stiftung “and the Swiss foundation” DOMS ”.

In recent years Gleb Koroleff has taught students in Germany, Austria, Spain and Latvia, and has given numerous master classes as an assistant to Professor Pavel Gililov.
